Staycations. They’re a thing, right? Well, being travel addicts, we try to enjoy the best of our own city in the weeks in between our getaways. Here’s a summation of our favourites during our baby’s first year.
Nine months in as parents, we’re lucky to report that our tot is a happy adventurer and racked up double figures in domestic flights. Although we are far from expert, here’s a bunch of tips of what we’ve learned about going places up in the air with a baby.
Are there more kangaroos here than people? There’s at least six of ’em lazing out just over the fence in the backyard on a picture-perfect winter’s day: the skies are sapphire, the sun is warming and the outlook is olive green the way only the Australian bush can be.
It’s a little state with a great, big heart. As soon as our sneakers hit the airport tarmac, we find our Tasmanian zen.
